Yankee Stadium Policies and Procedures

Safety is the No. 1 priority at Yankee Stadium, and the New York Yankees Partnership will take every reasonable step to provide a secure and enjoyable environment for everyone entering Yankee Stadium to attend a New York Yankees or other baseball game or event, such as a New York City FC or other soccer match, Pinstripe Bowl or other college football game, concert or graduation ceremony.

In addition to the presence of security personnel and uniformed police officers throughout Yankee Stadium, the Yankees administer several important security measures in accordance with Major League Baseball security regulations and in conjunction with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.

While on Yankee Stadium property, Guests must at all times (a) comply with (i) these Yankee Stadium Policies and Procedures, (ii) the Yankee Stadium Guest Code of Conduct, (iii) any other rules issued by the New York Yankees and/or any other applicable event organizer or governing body (e.g., Major League Baseball) with respect to a particular event and (iv) applicable law; and (b) follow the direction of Yankee Stadium Team Members* and any public law enforcement official (“Law Enforcement Official”), including, but not limited to the New York City Police Department.

Guests who do not comply with the foregoing in any way face immediate ejection and revocation of season tickets and/or future ticket privileges without refund, and may also be in violation of applicable law, resulting in possible arrest and prosecution. Non-compliance shall be determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Yankees or any Law Enforcement Official, as applicable.

Special rules, policies and procedures may also apply and be enforced at a specific event. Yankee Stadium management reserves the right to change or modify any Yankee Stadium rule, policy or procedure without notice.

Bag-size bins will be used at entry inspection points to confirm the size of all bags and personal items, which must fit without assistance, modification or adjustment. There is no storage area for any items. To enable Guests to enter Yankee Stadium in a more timely manner, the Yankees encourage Guests to remain aware of and comply with the bag policy, as well as consider carrying as little as possible. Please note security regulations may be amended at any time at the sole and absolute discretion of the Yankees. For more information, please click here.

Parents and group leaders may get wristbands at Guest Relations Booths and Kiosks throughout Yankee Stadium.

Metal Detectors

As part of Major League Baseball's initiative to standardize security procedures at all 30 Major League parks, all visitors are required to be screened via metal detectors before entering Yankee Stadium. The increased security measures are the result of MLB's continuing work with the Department of Homeland Security and are designed to elevate and standardize security practices across the game. The added security measures are in addition to bag checks that are conducted at all MLB ballparks. Accordingly, metal detector screening is standard practice at all Yankees games at Yankee Stadium, as well as at all other events occurring at Yankee Stadium.

As a result, the New York Yankees strongly encourage all visitors to budget extra time for arrival and entry to Yankee Stadium for all events.
