Safety is of the highest priority at Yankee Stadium, and the Yankees will continue to take every reasonable step to aid the safety of everyone entering Yankee Stadium. The Yankees are administering several important security measures in accordance with MLB security regulations and in conjunction with local, state and federal law enforcement agencies:
All guests will be subject to a security screening process before entering Yankee Stadium. This may lead to entry delays close to game time. The Yankees encourage guests to avoid lines by arriving at the Stadium as early as possible (at least 60 minutes prior to first pitch) to enjoy pregame in-stadium activities. To further expedite the process, please limit the number of items you bring with you to minimize search time. Please follow all signage and direction from security personnel. If you give tickets to someone who may not be familiar with Stadium security policies, please alert your guests to these measures.
Yankee Stadium Gates on Babe Ruth Plaza and Gates 2 and 8 open three hours prior to the start of every home game. All guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy batting practice and infield workouts from select areas of the Field Level and the Bleachers. Guests with tickets for the Legends Suite, the Delta SKY360 Suite, the H&R Block Suite Level and the Jim Beam Suite may access Yankee Stadium three hours prior to the start of every home game through the Suite Entrance adjacent to Gate 4. All other Gates and areas of the Stadium open two hours prior to the start of every home game.

The Yankees reserve the right to inspect any bags, clothing or other articles prior to entry into the Stadium and prohibit entry or require removal of any items the Yankees deem inappropriate or potentially injurious to the Stadium, other patrons or field personnel. Soft-sided attaché cases are permitted through the Suite Entrance next to Gate 4 for Premium ticket holders, but will be inspected. Premium ticket holders are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the Suite Entrance.
Prohibited items that are discovered during inspections at the Stadium entrances must either be returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded. The Stadium will not provide a storage area for these items. Guests arriving by mass transit must take particular caution not to bring any prohibited items, as no exceptions will be made. Thank you for your continued cooperation, and please be assured that your comfort and safety are our primary goals.
